The Rope Thunderbird Belt Black Overdyed
Product Description
Have you been looking something that keeps your pants up and what you can hand down for your offspring. here you go.
This belt is handmade in Helsinki from Oak bark tanned leather by J & FJ Baker Tannery. J & FJ Baker Tannery is only remaining oak bark tannery in Britain. Oak bark tannage is a long, gentle process that protects the natural fibres of the hide unlike modern tanning methods. They choose the best local hides and treat them in a sustainable process using natural products. It takes 14 months to produce each piece of leather. The Bridle Butt is the premium part of the hide. It's natural product so there can be small marks etc in leather and we are using most of the hide not just beautiful parts of it. Leather is hand dyed and when it is worn, belt is gonna get beautiful patina and charisma with time.
J. & F.J Baker & Co. Ltd’s leathers are Oak Bark tanned for strength and durability. When they require cleaning or ‘feeding’ we recommend wiping with a damp cloth, applying saddle soap and buffing with a cloth or soft brush, before leaving to dry naturally. Please do not use oil based leather feeds as these displace the greases in the leather and cause the fibres to dry out and degrade.
Belt has raw edges without finishing. Over time edges are turning semi-glossy naturally. Specifications: • Thunderbird casted copper • Width: 38 mm • Thickness: 4-4.5 mm • Handmade in Helsinki, Finland Good Goods. Lifetime Guarantee! If there is not your size stocked, delivery time is around 2 weeks. How to measure your body for belt size? To measure your body for optimal belt size, start by threading the tape measure through the belt loops of your trousers. It’s important to stand in a relaxed, natural position–do not push out your belly or suck it in–when taking the measurement. The measuring tape should be snug. Measure in inches and round to the nearest inch. Choose the belt size closest to this measurement.
How to measure a belt
Measuring a well-fitting belt you already own is the best way to determine your belt size. Lay the belt on a clean, flat surface. Start the tape measure at the hole you use and measure to the end of the belt, where it meets the buckle. Belts are measured in inches and you should round to the nearest inch. If you measure 36 inches, you will want to purchase a size 36 belt.
