Despite the name, Nitto Knitwear isn't Japanese—it’s a masterclass in French artisanal manufacturing. Established in 2022 by a family workshop that has been knitting in the Paris region since 1972, the brand focuses on generational expertise and "0 km" production. Everything is crafted in their Clamart atelier, from the initial programming of vintage Shima Seiki machines to the final "fulling" wash that ensures their sweaters never shrink. They utilize premium merino, mohair, and cashmere to create "intimate" batches of clothing that blend the ruggedness of sportswear with the refinement of French luxury.
