Stevenson Overall Co.
Revived in 2005 by vintage enthusiasts Zip Stevenson and Atsusuke Tagaya, Stevenson Overall Co. is a Japanese brand that breathes new life into a defunct 1920s American workwear label. Based in Tokyo, the brand focuses on artistic construction and a "nostalgic but new" aesthetic. Their signature is the use of single-needle flat-felled seams—an incredibly labor-intensive, pre-1920s sewing method that creates distinct, curved lines on pockets and belt loops. Everything is Made in Japan using custom fabrics like slubby Zimbabwe cotton selvedge from the renowned Kuroki Mills.
