Iron Heart IHV-50-IND 14oz Sashiko Dobby Cloth / Duck Work Vest - Indigo

  Based on the same pattern as original IHV-02, this heavyweight vintage-style work vest pairs a 14oz Japanese dobby cloth front with a hardwearing duck canvas back. Woven on a dobby loom using indigo-rope dyed yarns, the geometric weave creates a heavily textured, rugged face with far more exposed edges than a twill or plain weave. To add to the vest’s unique appearance, the yarns are soaked with green sulphur dye at the final stage of dying. This darkens the fabric, creating a distinctive hue which will quickly fade in high-wear areas to emphasise the three-dimensional nature of the dobby weave.

One-Washed

- Post construction, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
- No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines

Care Guidelines

- We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
