This style is commonly known as a watch cap, originally worn by soldiers and sailors to protect against wind and harsh weather while on deck during their watch. The silhouette is based on the original WWII-era hat used aboard US Navy vessels.
This modern interpretation features a double-fold construction, allowing the rim to be adjusted—worn above the ears or folded down for added protection when conditions demand it.
