The Modesto Jacket is Freenote’s interpretation of a Western-inspired chore coat, designed with a roomy silhouette and four generous front pockets for everyday utility. It features a camp collar that can be fastened for a secure fit, full-cut sleeves for easy movement, and durable all-brass hardware. Built for layering, this jacket combines rugged craftsmanship with a relaxed, easygoing shape that’s effortless to throw on and go.
This edition is crafted from a 13oz Japanese selvedge herringbone fabric, woven with indigo and off-white yarns for a rich, textured look. The cloth has an irregular, neppy surface and has been rinsed to remove initial shrinkage and add softness from the start. Over time, it will continue to break in beautifully, developing even more character with every wear.
