Red Wing 3468 Women`s 10″ Amber Pecos Boot
STYLE NO. 3468 : PECOS
Based on our men’s Pecos that we’ve been making since the 1950s, the women’s Pecos has a classic side seam shaft and takes style notes from Pecos boots from our archives while utilizing the 108 last for a feminine look and fit. The 3468 features premium Amber Harness leather, three-quarter Goodyear welt construction, and a black Chemigum sole.
THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE
Red Wing has been making pull-on boots, a style favored by ranchers and roughnecks, for almost a century. In the 1950s, we introduced the Pecos, named after a town in Texas, and it went on to become one of our most popular styles. Call it a cowboy boot, with a Minnesota twist, now made specifically for women.
S.B. Foot Tanning Co. is best known for Oil-Tanned leather which is used to build a variety of timeless Red Wing styles. This leather is water, stain and perspiration resistant, and has a more natural look and feel because less finishing materials have been applied, allowing its natural beauty to shine through. Oil-Tanned leather is exceptionally durable and has been used to build countless work boots throughout Red Wing’s 110+ year history.
