Normally, only the warp threads of denim fabrics are dyed indigo, but this fabric uses indigo dyed threads for both the warp and weft. Therefore, the inside is also indigo colored, giving it a unique look.
The warp and weft are dyed in different ways, so there is a difference in the aging between the front and back.
